Repair options depend on the original base construction, the condition of the remaining hair and how much wear the system has already received.
Can Every Hair System Be Repaired?
No. Not every hair system is suitable for repair.
If the base has become too weak, torn extensively or heavily worn, a repair may not provide a reliable result. In some cases, replacing or duplicating the existing unit is more practical than repairing it.
If repair is no longer practical, we can also discuss duplication of the existing system or a new custom unit.
How Do We Assess a Repair?
Before confirming a repair, we first review the condition of the base, hair loss, damaged areas and the original construction.
Send clear photos of the full base, the hair and close-ups of the areas that need attention. Include:
The base material, if known
How long the unit has been worn
The problem and the result your client needs
Any previous repairs or color treatments
Clear photos can be used for an initial assessment, but some repairs can only be confirmed after the hair system is examined in hand.
How Do I Request a Repair Assessment?
Send us clear photos of the front, base, hairline and any damaged or thinning areas.
Tell us what you would like to change or repair, such as adding hair, replacing the lace front, adjusting density or adding gray.
We can first review the photos and advise whether the unit appears suitable for repair before shipment.
What Happens Before Repair?
Contact us before shipping the hair system. We’ll discuss the proposed work, any limitations and whether physical inspection is needed.
Confirm the repair cost, estimated turnaround time and shipping arrangements before authorizing the work. If the unit needs to be inspected first, clarify any inspection and return-shipping charges before sending it.
Can You Repair a Hair System From Another Supplier?
Yes, we can assess units from other suppliers. Acceptance depends on the materials, construction and condition of the individual hair system.
